Harlequin is entering a new chapter in its development, supported by an experienced global leadership team and strong regional management. As part of this planned transition, Guy Dagger stepped down as CEO of the Harlequin Group, effective 3 August 2026.

Founded by Bob Dagger in 1979, Harlequin has evolved from a specialist flooring company into a global leader in flooring for the dance, performing arts, and live events industries. Today, Harlequin’s strength stems from its international teams, long-standing customer relationships, specialist expertise, and deep understanding of the markets and communities it serves.

Harlequin’s regional operations continue to be led by an experienced management team: Steve Gough in the Americas, Teresa Rogers in the United Kingdom, Chantal Lagniau in Europe, Niklas Bohr for the DACH region, Fiona Blackett in Australia, and Jamie Stirling covering Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Together with their teams, they bring decades of commercial, product, technical, and industry expertise. This leadership structure combines global collaboration with strong regional knowledge, enabling Harlequin to stay close to its customers and partners while continuing to expand the business internationally.

The leadership transition marks a natural step in Harlequin’s evolution from a family-founded company to an established global business. The Harlequin brand, its specialist expertise, product portfolio, and commitment to exceptional service remain unchanged.

Customers and partners will continue to work with the same experienced management and regional teams, maintaining the relationships, expertise, and service they know and trust. With a strong global leadership structure in place, Harlequin will continue to innovate, grow internationally, and serve the dance, performing arts, and live events communities for many years to come.
